St. Catharines Hydro Inc.  (the corporation)

St. Catharines Hydro Inc. operates a hydro generation facility in the City of St. Catharines, the City being the sole shareholder . It optomizes output and value of electricity in strict adherence to the licencing reqirements set by the Ontario Energy Board. There are six members of the Commission, in addition to the Mayor and a Member of Council, all appointed by Council for a four year term.

• To recognize its corporate responsibility in the management of water resources by balancing the Community's interests and needs with those of the Corporation.
• To maintain a prudent financial capitalization structure.
• To compete fairly and vigorously in the market.
• To develop effective strategies and plans to ensure the Corporation's viability and enhancement of Shareholder value.
• To be honest and obey all applicable laws.
