ST. CATHARINES DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION

The St. Catharines Downtown Associaton oversees the planning, budgeting and the implementation of projects for improvement, beautification and maintenance of lands within the designated Business Improvement Area of downtown St. Catharines. Its members consist of assessed property owners and determined tenants of such properties within that area. There are ten members appointed by Council, two of whom are Councillors, appointed for a four year term.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To provide business promotion and improvement in the Downtown Core.
• To promote the area as a business and shopping destination.
• Work to improve, beautify and maintain public lands within the Business Improvement Area of downtown.
