NIAGARA WINE FESTIVAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 The Niagara Wine Festival Board of Directors advises the Executive Director on the operations of the three main festivals: New Vintage Festival, Grape and Wine Festival and the Icewine Festival. The Board is comprised of 11 members, Executive Board (Founders), The City of St. Catharines,The Grape Growers of Ontario and the Wine Council of Ontario. Additional membership is supported by two wineries, the culinary, tourism and hospitality sectors, St. Catharines and an additional two at large members. A Member of Council is appointed to the Board of Directors for the term of Council.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To create and promote, internationally unique and compelling wine experiences, leverage the tourism potential of the Niagara Peninsula as a grape growing, wine producing and culinary destination.
  • Promote the grape and wine industry in Ontario.
  • Provide entertainment to the citizens of the Niagara Region in conjuction with the three main events.
  • Promote the City of St. Catharines and the Niagara Region as a tourist destination.
