Lincoln County Humane Society

The Lincoln County Humane Society is a Committee of Council providing animal care and control services to the City.  A Board of Directors oversees the administration with membersip being determined by the Board, upon application to the Humane Society.  A Member of Council is appointed to the Board for the term of Council.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To support and alleviate the suffering and neglect of animals.
• Provide rescue and control as a lifeline to animals in need as a necessary service to the community.
• Pursue workable solutions to animal overpopulation and homelessness.
• Continue to support the human-animal bond and foster an environment in which people respect all living creatures.
• Operate all programs with integrity, in a financially responsible manner that ensures a future for the organization with a strong committment to fundraising and membership development.
